Day 1: Arrival & Cultural Discovery
Morning:
Arrive in Battambang and check in to your hotel or guesthouse.
Visit the Battambang Provincial Museum to see ancient artifacts and local history.
Stroll along the colonial riverside to admire the old French buildings.
Lunch: Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant offering Khmer or fusion food.
Afternoon: Visit the famous Phare Ponleu Selpak (Circus School):
Learn how this NGO uses art to empower youth.
See student exhibitions or book a circus show for the evening.
Evening: Dinner in town. Optional: Watch the Phare Circus performance (must book in advance – very inspiring and popular).

Day 2: Rural Exploration & Ancient Temples
Morning:
Take a countryside tuk-tuk or bicycle tour, Visit a rice paper village, banana chip workshop, and fish paste (prahok) factory.
Meet locals and try hands-on activities, Stop at Wat Samrong Knong – a historic pagoda and genocide memorial.
Lunch: Local lunch in the countryside or return to town.
Afternoon: Visit Phnom Banan Temple – an Angkor-era temple with beautiful hilltop views.
Then continue to Phnom Sampov: Explore caves with religious shrines and tragic history (Killing Caves).
Before sunset, witness the bat cave show – thousands of bats flying out of the cave (magical moment!).
Evening: Return to Battambang for dinner and rest.

Day 3: Bamboo Train & Local Markets
Morning: Ride the famous Bamboo Train (Norry) – a fun and unique experience that takes you through rice fields and villages. Visit a local textile or pottery village if time allows.
Lunch at a community-run café or NGO restaurant supporting youth.
Afternoon: Last-minute shopping at Psar Nat Market or local art shops.
Departure to Siem Reap, Phnom Penh, or border crossing to Thailand (Poipet).
